The City of Merrill recently held their grand opening celebration for the new Good Duck Park along Lost River in downtown Merrill. Mayor Bill Carlson provided the opening welcome and thanked the many partners involved in the project, including the City of Merrill, Merrill Public Works, Project Merrill, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Rural Klamath Connects, and Klamath County. The new space is now open for residents and visitors to enjoy the wildlife along Lost River. The Good Duck Park also honors Disney artist Carl Barks who grew up in Merrill.
