Bonanza BBQ Rib Cook-Off Extravaganza July 29, 2017

The Town of Bonanza and the Bonanza Lions Club will be holding a BBQ Rib Cook-Off Extravaganza on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Bonanza Big Springs Park.  This event truly has something for everyone with a Homemade Hobby Festival featuring 75+ vendors, Show & Shine Car Show, Bonanza Lion’s Club Parade & Carnival, Children’s Art Festival, Quilt Show, Evening Tri-Tip Dinner and Talent Show.  There will also be live entertainment, town wide yard sales, robotics display, Cascade Civil War Society Encampment, and much more.  Join us for this family friendly event!  For more information please contact Tina Young at 541-545-6566 or [email protected].

Tulelake Shindig Street Fair and Community Yard Sale August 12, 2017

Join us for the 1st Tulelake Shindig Street Fair on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm at Otis Roper Park in Tulelake .  The event will feature live music, craft vendors, food trucks, and raffles.  Representatives include the Tulelake Volunteer Fire Department, U.S. Military, the American Legion Auxiliary, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Modoc Early Head Start, and more.  In conjunction with the Shindig festivities there will be a city-wide yard sale in Tulelake beginning at 8:00 am.  For more information please contact Lydia Gil at [email protected], or Facebook or by phone (530) 667-4321.  If no answer by phone, please leave a message.

Butte Valley July Fourth Parade Applications Available

Parade and vendor applications are available for the Butte Valley Fourth of July celebration.

Activities will include a parade, flag raising ceremony, children’s activities including a bouncy house and games, a 4-H petting zoo and visits with Smokey the Bear, along with a family barbecue.  Cash prizes will be awarded for winning parade floats.  Booths for local artisans are available for $20, and are free for Butte Valley residents and non-profits.
