Malin Family Heritage Dinner & Movie January 28
The Malin Community Service Club is sponsoring their 2nd Annual Malin Family Heritage Dinner & Movie event on Sunday, January 28th. Dinner will begin at 1:00 pm at the Way Station in downtown Malin. Join us for good food and great company. Dinner menu will showcase our local resident’s heritage. We will also present our annual Volunteer of the Year Award. Dinner tickets are $10 for Adults, $5 for children 12 & under, and $25 per family. Children under 4 yrs of age are free. Dinner tickets are available at Malin Country Diner, Kalina Hardware, Corner Closet, and Malin City Hall. Limited tickets will be available at the door. Stay after dinner for a showing of War Horse at 2:30 pm at the Malin Broadway Theater. Donations will be accepted for the movie. Please see flyer for more details.
Malin Park Christmas Tree Lighting
Join the Malin Community Service Club for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Malin Community Park on Wednesday, December 13. The festivities begin at 5:30 pm with a fundraiser dinner for the Malin Community Preschool at the Malin Community Hall. Then the tree lights go on at 7:00 pm with Santa joining in the fun. Make sure to bring your camera for pictures with Santa. The trees will be lit nightly until New Year’s Day. Please see flyer for more details.
Rural Tourism Studio wraps up December 5 & 6 in Klamath Falls
Travel Oregon will host its final series of Rural Tourism Studio workshops on Tuesday, December 5 and Wednesday, December 6 at the 9th Street Venue in downtown Klamath Falls.
Join us for next week’s sessions focusing on Tourism Marketing & Communications and Teaming for Action. There will be an Evening Celebration at the Ross Ragland Theater on Tuesday, December 6 to celebrate our region’s completion of the Rural Tourism Studio series. We welcome everyone interested in strengthening our local economy through tourism to participate.

Bonanza Hometown Holiday Celebration!
Join the Town of Bonanza as they host their 2nd Annual Hometown Holiday Celebration on Saturday, December 2. The festivities include a downtown Holiday Light Parade beginning at 5:30, along with a tree lighting ceremony, visits with Santa, and the Bonanza Lions Club Pie Social. Holiday Craft Bazaars will be available from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm at the Bonanza Community Center and 9:00 am – 8:00 pm at the Bonanza School’s Little Gym.
